29th November 2009 Leicester Open Brass Band Contest
Rolls Royce Derby Band win the Leicester Open Contest and take the best soloist prize as well. The band played Music for a Festival by Philip Sparke a fantastic composition with many musical moments. Congratulations to our principal cornet Kevin Mantle who won the best soloist prize.
