Newark Castle Sunday 15th August 2010
The band's latest performance was at Newark Castle built by Alexander, Bishop of Lincoln, between the years 1125 and 1135 and one of the band's favourite outside venues. A capacity crowd enjoyed the bands concert within the Castle and as usual the audience were attentive, enthusiastic and full of fun. The bandstand which is set inside this fantastic castle makes an excellent venue for concerts.
The weather held throughout the concert and even the sun shined through. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon for the band and audience with many members of the public complimenting the band on the standard of playing and choice of repertoire.
